We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Gavle, Sweden.
Support the development of the mechanical commissioning strategy and schedule, working closely with the wider commissioning team, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Mechanical Installation Oversight
Supervise and monitor mechanical installations to verify compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations prior to commissioning and testing activities.
• Testing, Verification & Witnessing
Lead and witness FAT, SAT, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for major mechanical plant—including chillers, AHUs, CRAHs, and associated equipment—ensuring performance meets project requirements.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Management
Coordinate specialist mechanical vendors and subcontractors, ensuring timely attendance, completion of commissioning scope, and adherence to the established programme.
• Documentation, Handover & Quality Assurance
Review and manage all mechanical commissioning documentation—Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Test Scripts, Compliance Statements—and maintain accurate red-line drawings, snag lists, and handover records in alignment with project quality and EHS requirements.
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar position on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
